The present study refers to the British, Americans and Irish who travelled to Greece and visited the sacred island of Delos, birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, and the island of Mykonos. It is going for fifty-seven American, British and Irish travellers who travelled to the Greek islands of Archipelago, during the four centuries (16th-19th) recorded what they experienced and saw on the islands of Mykonos, Delos and Rheneia. Returning to their homelands, they published their diaries or their letters sent to friends or relatives and thus we have the opportunity to learn about the life, the customs, the economic situation of the inhabitants of Mykonos, the fate of the antiquities of Delos and the antiquities of Necropolis of Rheneia during the years 1600 to 1900 A.D.
