This publication is the result of the author’s many years of research and academic teaching. It is intended as a comprehensive guide to teaching performance art, structured around exercises and projects that fall into the following two sections: "the basics", which deals with fundamental elements of performance, such as space, objects and the body and "advanced", the content of which is essentially conceptual. Each section is accompanied by theoretical texts that delimit the artistic context and reveal the connections of performance art with the public sphere. The book is aimed at students, teachers, researchers and artists who wish to delve into the art of performance.
